Our product line: FarmTough

Our FarmTough product line is specially designed for the agricultural technology sector. It includes various conveyor belts and systems made of plastics and elastomers that work together seamlessly. Each product fulfills a clear task in accordance with specifications – from gentle picking and transport to precise sorting and separation of the conveyed material. Together, they offer maximum reliability, low wear and optimized overall efficiency.

 


Draper belt

The conveyor belt replaces the screw conveyor.

With the Draper cutting unit, the harvested crop is not transported to the thresher by a screw conveyor after cutting, but by transverse conveyor belts that are stable in the transverse direction. The Draper can adapt flexibly to the ground contour, enabling a low cutting height at high speeds.

  • Uniform flow through the conveyor belt to the combine harvester 
  • The adjustable belt speed allows quick and easy adaptation to different harvesting conditions and increases the flow of material
  • Unlike the auger used, the conveyor belt is flexible, not rigid
  • Flexible ground adaptation possible thanks to the belt, therefore low cutting height, particularly advantageous on undulating and uneven surfaces 
  • Particularly gentle and even transport of the conveyed material 

benefits:

  • One option is a plastic belt with welded or riveted cleats, with the customer free to choose the arrangement and design. An additional sliding fabric can be applied to the center of the belt in the direction of belt rotation, which requires little space when the belt is returned. This allows for low overall heights.
  • If the conveyor belt is exposed to greater mechanical loads, a rubber conveyor belt can be used as an alternative option. In this case, the stiffness of the belt is ensured by transversely rigid fabric studs. The studs can be equipped with a sliding fabric on the upper side, which also favors the low installation space.

Dust nets

Lightweight material for covering and dust reduction

Specially designed as a cover for machines in the agricultural sector when harvesting crops (e.g., pickup on forage harvesters). The specially designed cover nets increase the operational safety of the machines. The driver has a perfect view of the belt flow into the machine from his cab. Foreign objects can thus be detected at an early stage, as can uneven material feed into the machine.

  • The dust net offers impressive weight savings compared to metal covers
  • Customized designs facilitate installation and accessibility to the machine
  • The cover can be designed to span the entire width of the machine
  • The dust nets can be manufactured entirely according to customer requirements in terms of dimensions, edge reinforcement, color, and, for example, the insertion of eyelets   

Agriglide sealing system

The perfect duo: Agriglide and Maxload for maximum loads

Agriglide sealing system: The sealing lips, which fit tightly against the side walls of the transport trolley, ensure quick and complete unloading. Their special material composition guarantees a tight fit while also providing excellent sliding properties. This prevents the sealing lip from flipping over or “stuttering.”

  • Minimization of load residue behind the wall thanks to the flat surface of the material

Heavy-duty belt maxload

Agriglide and Maxload for maximum loads as an optimal combination

Heavy-duty belt maxload:
Although it is quite thin, the conveyor belt has an extremely high tensile strength. Standard plastic belts generally have a maximum tensile strength of 240 N/mm, whereas Maxload has a tensile strength of approx. 900 N/mm.

Picking belt

Ideal interaction thanks to flexibility.

Picking belts are used in agriculture for the gentle and efficient harvesting of delicate fruits and vegetables. Thanks to low pressure, flexible material properties, and controllable handling, they enable harvesting without damaging the fruit wall and stem.

  • The conveyor belt is composed as follows:
    • a large wedge strip on the back
    • a plastic belt with a high-grip running surface in the middle
    • and finally a soft coating on the side that comes into contact with the conveyed goods
  • The entire belt, especially the soft coating, can be customized to suit the customer's requirements, depending on the goods being picked. FDA approval is also possible
  • The wedge strip ensures stable belt guidance
  • Thanks to its high-grip coating, the plastic belt offers good transmission of the drive force with low elongation behavior

Fastening for flexible step

Ideal interaction thanks to flexibility.

Our mounting system for flexible steps combines mobility and stability in one system. It is an integral part of the lower section of the vehicle's existing steps. It offers a certain degree of flexibility in the direction of travel so that obstacles encountered while driving can be avoided.

 

  • Fastening of the flexible step:
    • The rubber cover plates on both sides protect the carcass of the step fastening from mechanical damage and external environmental influences
  • Stability when stepping on
  • Adaptability during driving
  • Free choice of contours, manufactured using our 3D water jet cutter with a maximum head tilt of 67°
  • Multi-layer carcass construction for significantly higher tear-out forces at the attachment points  

Back panel made of PC/PE

Optimal visibility with simultaneous protection.

Plastic rear panels are used in agriculture to enable the driver of the agricultural vehicle to see the crop (transparent plastic) while also protecting against foreign objects in the crop (technical plastic).

 

Transparent plastic:

  • Transparent plastic: high impact resistance
  • Can be shaped up to a length of 3 m
  • Milled, shaped, and adjusted from a single piece
  • Driver of the agricultural vehicle has a clear view of the crop and the flow of material

Swath merging

Bundle harvests, increase efficiency.

Swath merging in agriculture is a process in which the mowed crop (e.g., grass, grain) from several mowing tracks is merged into a wider strip.

  • Conveyor belts with riveted cleats combine extremely high tear-out forces with unparalleled cleat strength
  • Different belt types with flexible elongation properties, up to puncture-resistant inserts and cleat shapes, can be freely selected according to the area of application and customer requirements
  • Riveted cleats up to 40 mm are available as standard, as are welded cleats up to 60 mm

Milling belt & guide rubber

Precisely conveyed and securely guided.

The conveyor belt runs in a kind of shaft. The feed is fed onto the conveyor belt via an end removal mill. This transports the material further into the mixing container. The guide rubber guides the material in the discharge area so that it does not end up outside the mixing container. The conveyor belt and guide rubber are extremely resilient and offer high mechanical strength.

 

Advantages of conveyor belts:

  • Hot-vulcanized block lugs in various dimensions according to customer requirements
  • Separation values of the lugs are many times higher than the standard value
  • Very stable thanks to the special carcass construction in the edge guide area
  • The special belt construction is designed for use with mechanical connectors

Delivery belt

Gentle transport from the field to use.

Discharge belts are belts used in agriculture for the automated unloading or removal of harvested products. They are used for the gentle transport of products from the field or machine to collection containers, sorting lines, troughs or dosing devices. The low elongation of the conveyor belt allows for different speeds without having to retension the belt. The various speeds allow different discharge trajectories to be achieved. A special belt design makes it possible to combine a straight discharge belt and an L-conveyor with a single belt. This reduces the number of transitions and transfer points for the conveyed material due to the single-belt design (continuous belt construction).
